Joe Turley CEO is delighted to announce that Hakan Wedberg will be assisting Reflective Measurement Systems Ltd (RMS) as Regional Sales Director to develop the European market from his base in Sweden.
Hakan has over 35 years’ experience in the road marking & road maintenance industry working with Geveko Industri AB, PlastiRoute Group and Mastec Components AB. In 2010 Hakan started his own management Consulting company, WRMS AB & has since successfully promoted several companies and technologies i.e. Weigel Hochdrucktechnik GmbH & CO. KG, DRM; WINTER GRÜN Markiertechnologie GmbH, Kelly Bros International, Trysil RMM & Team Segnal S.r.l. & now the RetroTek retroreflectometer technologies from RMS.
Hakan, will concentrate on developing the RetroTek brand in Europe including product sales with government agencies and road marking applicators , road condition surveyors & airport authorities. He will also investigate potential business & partners to strengthen the RetroTek brand in Europe.
The RetroTek technologies are manufactured by Reflective Measurement Systems Ltd (RMS) Dublin Ireland. RMS have developed the RetroTek-D which is the first front of vehicle mounted mobile retroreflectometer (MRU) capable of measuring pavement markings across the full width of the lane travelled in one pass at all traffic speeds certified to ASTM E 1710 & 30M geometry. The RetroTek-D is operational day or night & measures the day visibility (contrast) & night visibility (retroreflectivity) of long lines and critical safety in-lane markings /symbols including directional arrows, cross walks, stop lines etc.
