The onsite installation team at RetroTek were pleased to support our first customer in Mexico, Red de Carretas de Occidente (RCO), which is one of the largest motorway operators in Mexico with Abertis Group as a majority shareholder. Abertis is one of the world’s leading high-capacity, high-quality motorway operators, with some 8,000 kilometres in 15 countries across Europe, America and Asia. Our team trained the RCO operators on installing and calibrating the system prior to surveys. After a quick test survey run on the nearby highway we returned to their facility to deliver the operator training course and then provide live training on the unit.
The RCO team plan to use the RetroTek system to measure all new road projects and to measure their entire network quite frequently. They were very happy with the system and were delighted to be first in Mexico with a RetroTek unit.
